The EPA defines the Perchlorate as a contaminant in water. It is found that perchlorate may have an adverse effect on the health of persons and is known to occur in public drinking water systems with a frequency and at levels that present a public health concern.
Sunresin produces a special type of selective ion exchange resin KIVI special resin for perchlorate removal, especially from drinking water.
With its special matrix and tributylamine function group, the resin can realize high selectivity for perchlorate.
In operation, KIVI special resin for perchlorate removal shows good mechanical strengh and excellent mechanical strength to osmotic and thermal shock.
Since not easy handling the regeneration effluent, this resin is not suggested to be regenerated for recycling use.
